Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a filamentous, tiny Cyanobacterium that gets its name from its filaments’ spiral or helical structure. Spirulina is considered a superfood because of its nutritious value, which will be good to outwit malnutrition and other health-related issues. With a protein level of 63 percent dry matter, the microalga spirulina is a viable food ingredient for expanding the repertory of protein sources available for human consumption. According to studies, unique food products that are produced with the consumer in mind are the most successful.
